Blenheim Palace, Woodstock, UK
We have returned to the beautiful Blenheim Palace, the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill and a famous British architectural monument with over 300 years of history. The location is dazzling with evergreen perfectly cut lawns, immaculately trimmed bushes and, for these three days, some of the most iconic automobiles of past, present and future gathered for yet another edition of Salon Privé…
Salon Privé, is, arguably, one of the biggest and most anticipated specialist auto shows in the UK each year. With cars coming from all over the world, the collection of automobiles gathered in one place is truly remarkable. Here you can see the famous Bentley Blower and Rolls-Royces from the 1920s, Jaguar XJ220 and the Ferrari 642 that was raced by Alain Prost in the 1991 Formula 1 championship, just to name a few.
This time Zenvo decided to bring a very bright ‘Hi-Viz’ green TS1 GT with us to UK. The car was showcased in an area designated specifically to hypercars.
Throughout the first day the weather was typically British with showers coming out of the blue and switching to sunshine in a matter of five minutes. Despite the weather, we enjoyed the atmosphere of the event and enthusiasm of people stopping by the TS1 GT. The highlight of the day was a historic cars and motorcycles Concours d'Elégance, it is a very special feeling to see the iconic machinery coming alive and paraded in front of the audience.
On the second day of the show we were thrilled to participate in the traditional supercar parade and drive in front of the Palace itself. The combination of bright green Zenvo and the baroque style of Blenheim Palace was a sight not to be missed by any car spotter.
The final day of Salon Privé was a commemoration of 70 years of Ferrari. The total number of historic models assembled exceeded 50 and some of the cars came as far away as from California. In the evening, once the official part of exhibition was over, we decided to bring our TS1 GT in front of the palace one last time and treat the photographers with the perfect scene. We couldn’t wish for a better ending of Salon Privé 2017 and our ties with UK keep getting stronger.
