The shining star of the Aurora is its bespoke, 6.6-litre V12, developed exclusively in partnership with MAHLE Powertrain. Boosted by four turbochargers, mounted within the engine’s vee, it produces 1,250bhp on internal combustion alone and revs to a scintillating 9,800rpm. When combined with Aurora’s electric motors it provides up to 1,850bhp, making it the most powerful V12 engine ever fitted to a road car.
The all-new ZM1 carbon monocoque structure brings contemporary F1-levels of rigidity and safety to the hypercar world, combining extreme strength with a total weight of just 120kg. Fusing art and industrial design, the Aurora exposes 70% of its inner structure to the naked eye, recognising that real beauty – and strength – comes from within.
